Situated in an upscale neighbourhood of Bangalore, this condominium exemplifies a straightforward and effective design approach. Departing from the conventional compact layouts, with the building’s shorter side facing the entrance, we capitalized on this orientation to establish visual connections between most living areas with the outdoor landscape, providing the inhabitants a sense of harmony with their surroundings.

A significant design challenge arose with the south-facing facade, prompting the introduction of vertical fins along the elevation. Serving a dual purpose, these fins effectively mitigate harsh sunlight while promoting cross ventilation, functioning as a privacy screen. They create a seamless facade, disrupting the repetitive bands commonly found in apartment elevations. The intentional incorporation of red bricks and exposed concrete fins into the elevation not only achieves a well-balanced and functional facade but also imparts a profound sense of comfort and warmth, extending a gracious welcome to all who enter.

This meticulous attention to materials and details serves as a testament to our commitment to creating spaces that resonate with inhabitants on a visceral level.
